The nominees for the 2008 Ford PFAI Player of the Year Awards have been announced.
The eircom Premier Division Player of the Year is an all-Dublin affair, with all the nominees coming from champions Bohemians and St Patrick's Athletic.
The Bohemians quartet of Brian Murphy, Killian Brennan, Glen Crowe and Owen Heary will fight it out for the award along with Keith Fahey and Mark Quigley of St Pat's.
Quigley also received a nomination in the Young Player of the Year category along with James O'Shea of Galway United and Derry City's Niall McGinn.
In the First Division, Robbie Doyle, from the League's newcomers Sporting Fingal finds himself nominated alongside Wexford Youths's Conor Synott and David Cassidy of Dundalk.
The awards will take place on Sunday 16 November at the D4 Ballsbridge Court, Hotel in Dublin.
As part of a sponsorship deal with Ford will provide the Premier Division and First Division Players' of the Year with the exclusive use of a new Ford Focus for the following year.
