Padraig Amond of Shamrock Rovers and James Berrett of Huddersfield Town have been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for next Tuesday’s friendly match against Lithuania.
The duo replace Celtic's Cillian Sheridan and Alan Judge of Blackburn Rovers, both of whom have withdrawn from the squad.
Don Givens's side are looking to build on an encouraging 2-2 draw with Portugal last time out.
