Internazionale coach Jose Mourinho has left Argentina striker Hernan Crespo off his squad list for this season's Champions League.
Mourinho released a 25-man list on Monday night which included four attackers in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Julio Cruz, Adriano and Mario Balotelli, but there was no place for injured defenders Nelson Rivas and Walter Samuel, midfielder Olivier Dacourt or Crespo.
Mourinho has never been a fan of the 33-year-old, who spent much of his career at Chelsea on loan when the Portuguese coach was at the helm.
Reports in Italy suggest Crespo - who came on as a late substitute in Inter's first Serie A match of the new season at the weekend - could leave the club.
Meanwhile, Defender Alessandro Nesta has been left out of AC Milan's squad for the UEFA Cup.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti has chosen ten defenders in the 25-man roster, including veteran captain Paolo Maldini, but Nesta is not among them.
The 32-year-old has struggled with injury in recent campaigns, and is recovering from a back problem.
Playmaker Kaka, who is recovering from knee surgery, is included. The Rossoneri take on FC Zurich in the first round of the European competition.
