Ricardo Quaresma has signed a five-year deal with Italian champions Inter Milan after joining from FC Porto on Monday.
The Portuguese champions confirmed the deal would go ahead late on Sunday Portugal's under-20 international Pele going in the other direction to join Porto.
Inter have now rubber-stamped the deal that will see Quaresma wear the number 77 shirt.
The Italians will pay €18.6million for the player with the sporting rights for the young midfielder established at €6million euros.
The winger started his career at Sporting Lisbon before moving to Barcelona in 2003/04 and then on to FC Porto. He scored eight goals last season.
