Thursday's UEFA Cup second qualifying round first leg tie between WIT Georgia and Austria Vienna has been cancelled because of the political situation in Georgia, with the game now being played as a one-off match in two weeks' time.
UEFA initially moved the opening leg to a venue in Turkey but then decided to cancel the game with the outcome of the tie to be determined by the result of a one-off meeting in Vienna on August 28.
Georgia launched an attack last week in an attempt to regain control over South Ossetia, and Russian forces responded by sending in troops and conducting air strikes, killing hundreds of civilians.
On Tuesday, moves were made to bring the conflict to an end but that came too late to convince UEFA to let the game go ahead.
