Shamrock Rovers have completed the loan signing of Joseph Ndo from Saint Patrick's Athletic.

The deal will run until the end of the season. Manager Pat Scully is delighted with the move.

‘This is a very good signing for us and I'm delighted to welcome a
player of Joseph Ndo's quality to Shamrock Rovers.

‘It's a clear indication that we're moving up to the next level.’

Ndo had been linked with Bohemians and Derry City but Pat’s were reluctant to sell to their rivals so Scully got his man.

‘Everyone knows how good a player he is, but when I sat down to talk with Joseph I was equally impressed by his attitude. He's very aware of what we're at and how we do things at this club.’

‘I feel he can make a massive contribution, and will be a very good influence at the club and on the younger players at Shamrock Rovers,’ he concluded.

The Cameroon international is also pleased to make the move.

‘For some time I have been looking in admiration at Shamrock Rovers.

'They have been going in the right direction over the last couple of
years and they are a club that is serious about its future.

‘They have some really good players, they are moving to Tallaght next year - which is very exciting - and their fans are the most dedicated in Ireland. I look forward to playing for them.’

Shamrock Rovers have also signed goalkeeper Robert Duggan from Stoke City.

Mark Leech recently arrived from Galway United, while Corey
Treacy signed as a professional and Padraig Amond has extended his contract.
