First Division leaders Shelbourne came from behind to claim a draw against ten-man Sporting Fingal following an action-packed second half at Tolka Park.
Brian Kelly's dismissal early in the second half failed to stifle Sporting, who went ahead through Conan Byrne's header after 65 minutes.
The Reds were level two minutes later when Damien Brennan popped up at the far post to collect a Greg O'Halloran free-kick and prodded the ball past 'keeper Steve Williams from close range.
The visitors started the livelier and saw two efforts strike the woodwork within the opening quarter of an hour.
Peter Hynes connected with Paul Caffrey's corner on 12 minutes but his header crashed back off the crossbar. Aidan Collins beat goalkeeper Dean Delaney again two minutes later with a shot from the edge of the area only to see the post deny him.
The Shels stopper was kept busy until the interval, foiling Fiachra McArdle on two occasions after the left-winger weaved inside past defender Alan Murphy for a clear sight at goal.
It took just 15 seconds for the second half to explode into life when Sporting's Brian Kelly was issued with a straight red card for a stern aerial challenge on James Chambers.
Despite their numerical advantage, Shels failed to create much and fell behind with 25 minutes remaining.
Paul Caffrey delivered a corner-kick from the right and Conan Byrne's header hit the post before crossing the line.
Captain Brennan brought the Reds level two minutes later with his close-range finish but it was Sporting who had the best chance to secure all three points.
Peter Hynes broke free on the left with four minutes left and his shot from six yards angled marginally past the far post.
