Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has named his starting XI for his first international match in charge of the Irish team.

Trapattoni has named a team with a mixture of youth and experience and he hands two players their international debuts in tomorrow's clash with Serbia at Croke Park.

Left-back Damien Delaney and midfielder Glenn Whelan will both earn their first caps in the friendly encounter.

The squad will train at the match venue this evening and Trapattoni has revealed that he is hoping to use all his substitutes in the game.

Republic of Ireland team: Dean Kiely, Stephen Kelly, Richard Dunne, Paul McShane, Damien Delaney, Damien Duff, Liam Miller, Glenn Whelan, Stephen Hunt, Robbie Keane, Kevin Doyle.
