Rio Ferdinand has revealed there are still one or two issues to iron out before he signs a new contract at Manchester United.
The 29-year-old's representative, Pini Zahavi, this week claimed Ferdinand had agreed a five-year deal thought to be worth £130,000 a week.
Ferdinand told MUTV: 'It's nearly signed, nearly. We are still talking over a couple of things but I'm sure it will be sorted out before the end of the season.
'It will be a proud day for me, definitely, when I do sign a new contract.'
The England defenders insists he has no desire to play anywhere other than Old Trafford.
'I'm enjoying my time at United, I love being here and that's not changed,' he declared.
'Being part of a successful team is great and to be part of the tradition that goes along with that is an honour in itself.'
