Italy's World Cup-winning goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has extended his contract with Juventus until June 2013.

Buffon has added two years to his existing deal and could not hide his satisfaction.

'I will be at Juventus until I'm 35,' said Buffon. 'Hence, we will have the time to achieve results and reach the goals everyone expects from us.

'This could be my last contract but it will depend on my form in 2013. If when I'm 35 I had the certainty that I was physically well I could continue.'

Buffon came close to leaving the Bianconeri outfit shortly after the club were demoted to the second division in 2006 following the match-fixing scandal.

However, he opted to remain in Turin and helped the club gain promotion back to Italy's top flight last campaign.

Now Buffon has big ambitions for the Bianconeri.

'In the next five years I want to win the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup with Juve,' he said.
