Former Limerick FC and Waterford United boss Mike Kerley is being strongly tipped to become the new Limerick 37 manager following the departure of Paul McGee.
McGee parted company with the Shannonsiders at the weekend one year into a two year contract.
The 37s were formed at the beginning of the 2007 season, replacing the defunct Limerick FC, who failed to secure a UEFA licence.
Magee guided the club, who had no team, no manager, no ground, and no UEFA licence a few weeks before the 2007 season began, to fourth spot in the table.
