Stephen Kenny's tenure as manager of Scottish First Dvision side Dunfermline Athletic is now under threat.
The Dunfermline board met this afternoon to discuss the club's dismal start to the new season and will make an announcement before the weekend.
Kenny's side were beaten 5-0 on Saturday at home to Hamilton and the club remain mid-table piling the pressure on the Irishman.
Kenny has denied rumours that he is about to be sacked, but sources close to the club have indicated that Kenny may have lost the support of his board.
The Pars are in fifth spot in the Irn-Bru Scottish First Division with 12 points from 10 games, 13 points behind leaders Hamilton. They are five points clear of bottom club Stirling.
