O'Dea leads U-21s in in Sweden

Darren O’Dea will once again wear the captain’s armband as a young Republic of Ireland Under-21 side play Sweden in a friendly in Uppsala, Sweden at 5.30pm today.

O’Dea will be partnered at centre-half by Michael Spillane of Norwich City, with Eddie Nolan and Stephen O’Halloran playing full-back. The back four will play in front of Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Darren Randolph.
 
Owen Garvan, Patrick Cregg and Stephen Quinn will form the three-man midfield, with Sunderland’s Anthony Stokes spearheading the attack alongside Jim O’Brien and Aidan Downes.
 
Sligo Rovers full back Seamus Coleman – who turned 19 today – has been named on the bench, alongside Stephen Henderson, Alan Judge, Alan Sheehan and Alan Power.
