A round-up of SPL action

Inverness Caledonian Thistle player-manager Craig Brewster scored a stoppage time winner to end Hearts' winning run in the Scottish Premier League with a 2-1 victory.

Hearts took the lead in the 34th minute after Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Ian Black deflected Andrew Driver's cross into the net.

Dennis Wyness struck the equaliser after 64 minutes from close range before Brewster came on as a late sub and hooked in a fabulous volley from 20 yards in stoppage-time for their first win and points of the season.

Gretna racked up their first ever SPL win with a 3-2 victory over Dundee United thanks to a late winner from midfielder Allan Jenkins. Falkirk beat Motherwell 1-0 with a Russell Latapy free-kick and Kilmarnock and St Mirren slugged out a goalless draw.

Champions Celtic, who top the standings with 16 points from six games, are at Hibernian on Sunday while rivals Rangers, second with 15 from six, are at home to Aberdeen.
