Nigel Worthington expects a physical battle tonight as Northern Ireland attempt to head their qualifying group.
Victory against Iceland would see the province overtake Sweden, who have a free night.
It is a huge incentive for Northern Ireland on the back of a shock defeat by Latvia in Group F. However, it is a difficult task given their hosts' 3-0 victory against them in the first game of the campaign.
Worthington said: ‘It would be a great situation to go top of our group. But we have got to do things right. It is a case of bouncing back after what happened in Latvia.
‘We have got to go for the three points and look to win the game. It will be a good football fight against Iceland. It will be a high-energy game.
‘They have some good players and are well organised. We have to match them.’
