The Professional Footballers Association have decided to appeal FIFA's refusal to grant clearance to Gareth Farrelly and Colin Healy to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The organisation hope the move could allow Farrelly and Healy to play for the club of their choice.
Cork City have also received the support of the FAI, in the form of a second submission on the matter.
