Longford Town moved off the bottom of the eircom League of Ireland Premier Division table with a 1-0 win, their first victory of the season, against fellow strugglers Waterford United.
Town had to do it the hard way, playing the majority of the second half with ten men.
Midfielder Daire Doyle was sent off for a second yellow in the 61st minute card by fussy referee Declan Hanney.
Dave Mooney got the only goal of the game in the 24th minute, striking a beautiful shot past United 'keeper Dean Delaney.
Waterford pressed for an equaliser, but failed to really trouble Longford goalkeeper Shay Kelly.
