Athlone Town host Kildare County at the Athlone Town Stadium tonight (KO 7.30pm) and will be trying to continue their fine home form in the process.
Town have beaten both Kilkenny City and Wexford Youths by 3-0 scorelines at home so far this season and boss Michael O'Connor will be looking for a similar result tonight as his side tries to put some pressure on Dundalk at the top of the table.
But Athlone have a number of injuries to contend with: Des Hope still has to go for a scan regarding damage he did to a medial ligament, Davy Byrne is carrying an injury, Mixie Harty is having problems with his chest, Robbie Hamm will be missing with a hamstring injury and Ciaran Kelly is still out with a bug. But Ian Rossiter is back from suspension.
'We've being playing well at home. The crowds have been good and the games have been good. So you know I'm looking forward to it. We need to get back winning matches,' said the Town boss.
Meanwhile, Kildare will be looking to lift themselves off the bottom of the League table and claim their first win of the campaign.
However, they have claimed two useful draws on their travels, namely against Shelbourne and Wexford Youths, so they could be in with a shout tonight.
Manager John Ryan has no suspensions or injury worries to contend with.
