Chelsea captain John Terry is looking forward to the chance of washing away the memories of their Champions League semi-final defeat by Liverpool two years ago.
Chelsea are almost certain to face their Barclays Premiership rivals in the last four of the competition after the Blues beat Valencia in the Mestalla stadium on Tuesday night.
Liverpool are expected to progress at the expense of PSV after winning the first leg of their quarter-final tie 3-0 in Holland.
Chelsea are still haunted by the controversial Anfield winner from Luis Garcia which coach Jose Mourinho still insists never crossed the line.
Terry revealed the defeat was difficult to stomach and without trying to hype up the expected rematch, the England defender said: 'I don't want to start talking about revenge time or anything like that but it is a chance to wash those memories away because they were hurtful.
'Of course we would like the chance to go back and do it properly. The Champions League is the trophy a lot of us want at the club. It means an awful lot to us."
Chelsea reached the semi-finals for the second time in three years under Mourinho thanks to a second-half fightback against Valencia.
With the tie poised at 1-1 from the first leg, Chelsea looked out when Fernando Morientes gave the Spanish side a first-half lead.
But Andriy Shevchenko's leveller and a last-minute strike from Michael Essien gave Chelsea a memorable European night
