Craig Dargo's late goal gave ten-man Inverness Caledonian Thistle a 1-1 draw at second-placed Rangers in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.

Leaders Celtic were also held 1-1 by Dundee United thanks to Jon Daly's stoppage-time strike, his first goal for the club.

Celtic have 75 points, 13 more than Rangers with Aberdeen, 2-1 winners at Kilmarnock, in third on 57.

Inverness skipper Darren Dods was sent off after 14 minutes for a last-man foul on Kris Boyd and Charlie Adam scored from the free kick 20 metres out.

But Inverness, who beat Rangers in their last meeting in December, equalised in the 82nd minute through Dargo.

Rangers' Walter Smith manager said: 'It was a missed opportunity ... after getting ourselves off to a good start. We struggled against the 10 men and all credit to Caley. We have got no complaint about the result.'

Motherwell beat bottom club Dunfermline 2-0 thanks to a Scott McDonald double and Falkirk won 2-0 at home to St Mirren.

Hibernian play Hearts on Sunday in the Edinburgh derby.
