Robinho has announced he will quit Real Madrid if he does not receive more playing time.

The Brazil playmaker has made 21 league appearances for the capital club this season but many of those have come from the bench.

And the former Santos man has had enough.

He told www.GloboEsporte.com: 'I think it will be difficult for me to stay if the situation continues the same.

'If it does, it's obvious that I will try to find my place at another club.'

Robinho's agent Wagner Ribeiro has rejected talk of his client quitting the Bernabeu, however.

He said: 'Robinho is at the best club in the world. Madrid is a wonderful city and the stadium (Santiago Bernabeu) is always full.

'Also, the club are now planning to extend his contract until 2015.'

Robinho, 23, admitted to being contacted by AC Milan after a previous outburst.

He added: 'I don't regret anything. I was just saying what I was feeling.

'If he (coach Fabio Capello) would trust in my work, I would be a starter not a reserve.

'They (Milan) asked me if I was happy and I said I was because I live in a great place and a very nice city.

'However, the place I have to be happy most is on the pitch and there is no player who feels happy when he is not playing or is fielded in the second half.'
