Bohemians had two late goals disallowed as a brilliant save from new goalkeeper Brian Murphy was the highlight of a very lively pre-season 0-0 friendly draw with Aberdeen at Dalymount Park.

Murphy produced a stunning two-handed stop on 56 minutes to push out Scott Severin's powerful 30-yard free kick in what was third-placed SPL side Aberdeen's only real chance.

With five new signings in the starting 11, Bohs were fully committed from the start and might have got their reward in the final quarter but efforts from Des Byrne, direct from a corner, and Neale Fenn, were disallowed for pushing and offside respectively.

A note of concern for boss Sean Connor ahead of the new season, however, was an ankle injury to defender Liam Burns which saw him removed from the pitch on a stretcher just before half-time.
