Reading's Shane Long will earn his first senior international cap when he spearheads the Republic of Ireland attack alongside Robbie Keane on Wednesday night, kick-off 7.45pm.
Ireland manager Steve Staunton has confirmed that Long will start against San Marino in Ireland's Euro 2008 qualifier.
Wayne Henderson has been named in goal and will play behind a back four of Steve Finnan, Richard Dunne, John O'Shea and Ian Harte.
Damien Duff will start of the right side of midfield, with Kevin Kilbane on the left and Stephen Ireland and Lee Carsley in the centre.
Keane will again captain the side as he looks to add to his record internationals goals tally.
