Middlesbrough keeper Mark Schwarzer remains a doubt for Saturday's Barclays Premiership clash with Arsenal because of a back injury.

The Australian missed Tuesday night's 0-0 draw at Portsmouth and is unlikely to be risked, although striker Mark Viduka is expected to return from a hamstring problem.

Manager Gareth Southgate will not include new signing Dong Gook Lee in the 16 as the South Korea international works to build himself up to full match fitness.

Arsenal have doubts over both striker Emmanuel Adebayor (knee) and full-back Emmanuel Eboue (ankle) ahead of the Barclays Premiership trip to Middlesbrough.

Midfielder Abou Diaby (knee) is definitely out, while Philippe Senderos, who picked up a head wound in the midweek Carling Cup win over Tottenham, may be rested.

Freddie Ljungberg (hamstring), William Gallas (thigh), Alex Hleb (hamstring) and Julio Baptista (groin) are all still not yet available, while leading scorer Robin van Persie (broken foot) could miss the rest of the season.

Middlesbrough squad: Jones, Turnbull, Xavier, Davies, Woodgate, Pogatetz, Taylor, Hines, Boateng, Cattermole, Arca, Morrison, Downing, Euell, Rochemback, Johnson, Yakubu, Viduka, Christie.

Arsenal squad: Lehmann, Hoyte, Toure, Senderos, Clichy, Rosicky, Fabregas, Gilberto, Walcott, Aliadiere, Henry, Almunia, Eboue, Adebayor, Denilson, Flamini, Connolly, Djourou.
