Soccer Limerick have handed the running of the new club over to an interim board and will be called 'Limerick 37'.
The club, applying for an eircom League First Division license, chose 37 as 1937 was the year that the first senior club began playing from Limerick.
Interviews for the position of manager will take place over the weekend, there is great interest in the position and the selection will be a difficult one based on the quality of all the names associated with the position.
