Cork City have confirmed that the club have rejected a bid from Ipswich Town for want-away star George O'Callaghan.
The midfielder has had a lengthy spell on loan with the Championship side who are believed to have lodged a bid in the region of €100,000.
Scottish Premier League strugglers Dunfermline Athletic, managed by former Derry City manager Stephen Kenny, are also said to be interested in O'Callaghan's services.
