It has been reported that Celtic have tabled a late bid to sign 18-year-old Irish striker Anthony Stokes from Arsenal.
Charlton Athletic and Sunderland were thought to have agreed a fee with the London Club earlier, however Celtic are believed to have matched the fee.
Stokes scored 14 Scottish Premier League goals, including three hat-tricks, in 16 appearances with Falkirk since moving on-loan from Arsenal in September.
