Irish striker Anthony Stokes admits he is unlikely to extend his successful loan spell with Falkirk.

The 18-year-old Arsenal player has attracted interest from Celtic and Sunderland, with Charlton Athletic also reportedly in the hunt.

He netted his third hat-trick of the season on Saturday in Falkirk's 3-1 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but his initial loan period has now expired.

Stokes said in the Daily Express: 'I honestly don't know where my future lies. My deal with Falkirk has expired and it hasn't been renewed.

'So it's a case now of waiting to see what Arsenal want to do and I guess I'll take it from there.'

Stokes leads the goalscoring charts after finding the net 14 times in the Bank of Scotland Premier League, and said: 'Even if I do leave the club, which looks likely now, I will always be proud of that achievement.'
