Arsenal are again struggling with injuries ahead of Tuesday's Barclays Premiership clash with Charlton Athletic at the Emirates Stadium.

Manager Arsene Wenger's side emerged unscathed from Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United, but there remain nine players on the sidelines, with the Frenchman unsure if any will return.

The treatment room includes Alexander Hleb (shin), Theo Walcott (back), Emmanuel Adebayor (thigh), Johan Djourou, Thierry Henry, Freddie Ljungberg (all hamstring), William Gallas (thigh), Emmanuel Eboue and Abou Diaby (both ankle).

Luke Young and Andy Reid could return to give Charlton boss Alan Pardew a boost.

Captain Young (knee) and midfielder Reid (hamstring) have both returned to training, and Pardew has added them to his squad for the trip to north London.

Midfielder Amady Faye has recovered from the undisclosed injury which has kept him out for the last two games.

Provisional Arsenal squad: Lehmann, Hoyte, Toure, Senderos, Clichy, Fabregas, Gilberto, Rosicky, Baptista, van Persie, Almunia, Flamini, Aliadiere, Song, Lauren, Denilson.

Provisional Charlton Athletic squad: Carson, Sankofa, El Karkouri, Fortune, Faye, Young, Hreidarsson, Traore, Ambrose, Hughes, Kishishev, Holland, Reid, Thomas, Rommedahl, M Bent, Hasselbaink, D Bent, Myhre, Fortune, Sam, Diawara.
