Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has warned England midfielder Owen Hargreaves he is making his own life harder by continuing to seek a move to Manchester United.
Hargreaves, 25, first talked about wanting a move to the Premiership leaders in the summer, and this week reiterated his desire to leave Germany as he nears a return from a broken leg.
His position is not earning him any sympathy at the Bavarian club.
'We are sticking with our word and will not sell him,' Rummenigge said.
'He is not making any friends like this.'
Bayern have pledged to rebuff any renewed offer from United this winter, even if they increase their previous bid.
