Ten-man Sligo came to behind to snatch a point and ensure they finished fifth in the Premier Division after a 1-1 draw with Bray Wanderers.
It ended a five game losing streak for the Bit O'Red as the Seagulls ended the season with a third draw in a row.
Wanderers had taken a 22nd minute lead through Andrei Georgescu's eighth goal of the season at the Carlisle Grounds.
Referee Paul Tuite inadvertently go in the way of the ball which fell kindly to Paul Caffrey who fed Kieran O'Brien. The striker slipped in Georgescu to slid a low shot under John O'Hara from 15 yards into the far corner.
Rovers were then reduced to ten men in the 39th minute when Choice Aisien was sent off following an altercation with Chris Deans.
That was sandwiched between two brilliant saves by Gary Rogers to deny Paul McTiernan off a close range header and when the forward was clean through.
But the visitors equalised in the 56th minute. Rogers failed to cut out Fahrudin Kudozovic’s in-swinging corner which Liam Burns directed over the line with an outstretched leg from four-yards.
