Charlton hope to have Darren Bent fit

Reading captain Graeme Murty is expected to shrug off a shin injury picked up in training and keep his place for tomorrow's visit of Charlton.

However, winger Bobby Convey remains in the United States while he recovers from a knee injury.

Long-term absentee Dave Kitson (knee) is back in light training but is not yet ready for a return, while Peter Mate (knee), Aaron Brown (ankle) and Simon Cox (broken leg) remain on the sidelines.

Charlton hope to have England striker Darren Bent (hamstring) fit for new manager Les Reed's first game in charge.

Wingers Jerome Thomas (thigh) and Dennis Rommedahl (groin) are also expected to be available.

Midfielder Amady Faye is suspended, while both Radostin Kishishev and Souleymane Diawara are doubtful with hamstring problems.

Defenders Djimi Traore, Gonzalo Sorondo and Cory Gibbs are back in training but are still not ready for first-team contention, while striker Kevin Lisbie (shoulder) remains sidelined.
