England coach Steve McClaren on Tuesday handed a debut to Manchester City defender Micah Richards when he named his team for Wednesday's friendly against the Netherlands.
The 18-year-old Richards gets his chance after Manchester United's Gary Neville was ruled out because of injury.
Everton striker Andy Johnson, who was overlooked for the World Cup finals this year, was also named in the team to partner Wayne Rooney in attack.
