Cech has spoken for the first time about the sickening collision with Reading's Stephen Hunt that left with with a fractured skull.
Cech suffered the injury in the first minute of the game at the Madejski Stadium on 14 October and admits he cannot remember anything about.
The goalkeeper needed emergency surgery that night to insert two metal plates in his skull.
A long scar down the left side of his head was still clearly visible beneath his shaven hair when he returned for the first time to Chelsea's training ground with his wife Martina yesterday.
He joked with team-mates and spoke at length to manager Jose Mourinho and club doctor Bryan English about his long rehabilitation programme, which will start next week.
Cech said: 'I am okay. I feel better and I am improving and I am happy to be at the training ground to see the lads.'
The last thing Cech remembers from the game at Reading was standing in line to shake hands with the opposition before the kick-off.
He said: 'The shake-hands is the last thing I remember because JT [John Terry] lost the toss and I had to run to the other side and that is the last thing.'
