Diego Maradona has not ruled out taking charge of the Honduras national team.

Rafael Callejas, president of the Honduran Football Federation (Fenafuth), earlier confirmed he was interested in appointing the Argentinian legend.

And Maradona said: 'I could be the coach of the Honduran national team. We can talk. Why not?

'I'm glad to be taken into account to coach Honduras some day.'

The 1986 World Cup winner added: 'If I am not the chosen one, I hope Honduras have a coach can help them qualify for the World Cup.'
