Palermo have rubbished reports linking Carlos Tevez with a move to the Sicilian club.
Argentina striker Tevez, 22, recently joined West Ham from Brazilian club Corinthians but he has struggled for form.
Having failed to secure a regular first-team berth at Upton Park, reports have linked him with a switch to Palermo, who are joint top of Serie A.
The Rosaneri's director of sport, Rino Foschi, said: 'I can only stay that this is something absolutely stupid and I don't know where it comes from and who has put this stupid gossip around.'
