The FAI Appeals Board has adjourned, for further deliberations, Shelbourne's appeal against the eircom League Disciplinary Committee.

Shelbourne's appeal arises from their 3-1 defeat to Bohemians, during which the Gypsies fielded the suspended Jason McGuinness.

The Dalymount outfit were docked three points for fielding McGuinness, but Shelbourne CEO Ollie Byrne is arguing that they should have been awarded the points in line with previous UEFA decisions.

The FAI Appeals Board will meet again at their earliest convenience.
