Republic of Ireland soccer manager Steve Staunton and the FAI chief executive John Delaney are scheduled to meet Bobby Robson in England tomorrow to discuss his future role as the International Football Consultant to the Irish team.  

Robson has said that he wants to return having recovered from recent surgery to remove a brain tumour. He is expected to be given the all-clear by his medical team to resume football duties, his presence will be a welcome boost for Steve Staunton.

The Republic of Ireland's next Euro 2008 qualifier is against San Marino in Landsdowne Road on Wednesday, 15 November.

Ireland will play a B International against Scotland the evening before at Dalymount Park.
