Shamrock Rovers' in-form striker Ger Rowe is a doubt for tomorrow's clash with Limerick

Shamrock Rovers look to close the gap on Galway United and Dundalk in Monday's eircom League First Division clash with Limerick at Tolka Park, kick-off 8.00pm.

The Hoops will be without midfielders Paul Shiels and Mark O’Brien for up to three weeks due to injuries as they head into a crucial period of three home games in eight days.

Friday’s 1-0 defeat in Galway means Rovers are six points behind the First Division leaders, although they have two games in hand.

Midfielder Vinny Perth is a doubt while defender Ray Kenny, and strikers Ger Rowe and Chris Breen, picked up knocks at Terryland Park and must prove their fitness.

Limerick are again without Robbie Kelleher (knee), while fellow midfielder Kevin Waters (ankle) requires a late fitness test.
