Bohemians rocked by three-point deduction

The eircom League Board of Control has deducted three points from Bohemians for playing a suspended player in their league clash with Shelbourne on 18 August.

At a meeting last night, the board considered the report and recommendations of the league's protest committee regarding Jason McGuinness' participation in the game.

Shelbourne's protest has been upheld and the deduction takes place with immediate effect.
