Scotland midfielder Nigel Quashie has been ruled out of the Euro 2008 qualifiers against France and Ukraine.
The West Bromwich Albion player has been forced to withdraw from the squad with an ankle injury.
The 28-year-old will be joined by defenders Kevin McNaughton and Graeme Murty on the sidelines as Scotland boss Walter Smith makes a decision on any possible replacement.
Scotland assistant boss Tommy Burns said: 'The manager will decide later on if we are going to bring anybody in.'
