Hearts strikers Andrius Velicka and Juho Makela took advantage of rare starts to fire Hearts to a 4-0 rout of Dundee United in the Bank of Scotland Premier League at Tynecastle this afternoon.
United had the better of the first half an hour but Velicka put the hosts ahead with his first real chance and Makela quickly added a second on his first SPL start.
Hearts were comfortable in the second period and Paul Hartley and Jamie Mole rounded off the triumph in the closing stages.
