Bohemians will suffer a three-point deduction for fielding an ineligible player in the eircom League against Shelbourne on 18 August.
Jason Mc Guinness was under suspension when he played in the match and the protest committee established by the league's Board of Control has recommended a points deduction.
Bohemian will not appeal the decision.
