Derry City's Sean Hargan is a doubt for the club's second leg UEFA Cup tie agains PSG on Thursday

Derry City Manager Stephen Kenny is confident that Sean Hargan (groin) and Kevin Deery (ankle) will be fit for Thursday's UEFA Cup first round second leg game against Paris St Germain at Parc des Princes in Paris, kick-off at 8.00pm.

However, Kenny says that Pat McCourt's tight hamstring makes him a 'big doubt' for the Parc des Princes contest.

PSG are likely to again be without Vikash Dhorasoo who is embroiled in a row with manager Guy Lacombe.

Dhorasoo was dropped for the game at the Brandywell and things then took a turn for the worse when the French international described manager Lacombe as a 'liar' in a newspaper interview.

Edouard Cisse also hasn't started for PSG since being dropped for the first leg in Derry and with PSG's domestic form improving over the past fortnight, he is again likely to be left out of the starting line-up.

'They seem to have more or less the same team that played at the Brandywell apart from Bernard Mendy, the right full-back who was suspended for the first leg and Pauleta, who came on as a substitute at the Brandywell,' added the Derry manager.

'I'm hopeful we can contain Paris and counterattack but it's a new experience for a lot of our players,' said Kenny.

'PSG beat Monaco last week so that gives you an indication of their pedigree.

'They are the biggest club in France without question.

'It's a big ask for us but we've shown belief in all our games and I'm hopeful we can continue to do that.'

The teams drew 0-0 at the Brandywell in the first leg.

There is full live coverage of the game on RTÉ Radio MW on Thursday with Gabriel Egan and Eoin Hand commentating on the live action from the French capital.
