Watch Germany v Republic of Ireland exclusively live on RTÉ TWO this Saturday from 7.00pm.
Republic of Ireland manager Steve Staunton was forced to train without three of his squad today after they returned to England to sign for new clubs.
Everton winger Kevin Kilbane is poised to join Wigan Athletic, whose midfielder Graham Kavanagh is leaving the Latics to join Sunderland.
Blackburn midfielder Jonathan Douglas has completed a move to Leeds United, where he spent a spell on loan last season.
Staunton is hoping all three players will fly out to Stuttgart tonight to link up with the rest of the Irish squad ahead of the opening European Championship qualifier against Germany on Saturday.
'Those three players have had to go back to England for medicals and then to sign for new clubs,' said Staunton.
'It's those three for now, and we will see them in Stuttgart tonight when they fly back out of England.'
Staunton will be hoping he does not lose any more of his squad ahead of tonight's transfer window, in particular as centre-back Andy O'Brien has been linked with a move away from Portsmouth, with Crystal Palace apparently interested in signing him on loan.
