Gareth Farrelly's contract as player/manager of Bohemians has been terminated with immediate effect.
The decision seems to be as a result of Bohemians' season effectively finishing last night after losing 2-0 to Shamrock Rovers in the FAI Carlsberg Cup.
Bohs are currently languishing in mid-table and only a super-human effort for the remainder of the season would see the Gypsies challenging for, at best, the Intertoto Cup.
A statement from Bohemian FC read: 'The directors of Bohemian Football Club wish Gareth the best of luck in his future endeavours.'
