Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen hopes to have his future sorted 'within the next 48 hours', according to his agent, John Sivebaek.
The 30-year-old is wanted by Celtic although Newcastle United boss Glenn Roeder is also interested in the ex-Everton player.
However, with Gravesen set to link up with the Denmark squad for the forthcoming Euro 2008 qualifier against Iceland, he wants a swift decision on his immediate future.
Sivebaek told the Scottish Daily Mail: 'There is a good chance with Celtic and we will wait and see. Everything is okay financially, although we have had quite similar talks with some other clubs.
'It now comes down to a decision club-to-club if they agree the transfer fee.'
The former Manchester United player added: 'There are still other clubs interested, but I think we will be getting a bit close within the next two days. We are working very hard on this.
'Hopefully, there will be a conclusion within 48 hours because Thomas has to join the national team.'
