New Waterford United manager Gareth Cronin has already been active in the player stakes with three players being released today.
Cronin, who only took over the reins at the Blues on Tuesday has held discussions with the players and agreed to release goalkeeper Jimmy Fyffe, defender Brendan Hughes as well as midfielder Alan Reilly who had yet to kick a ball for United.
Cronin said: 'I will be looking to see if I can find replacements for these players. There are still out of contract players looking for clubs so we do have some options available to us.'
