There are reports this morning that Newcastle United have entered the race to sign Damien Dufff and have upped the bid put in earlier this week by Tottenham Hotspur.
The Daily Mirror has reported that Newcastle United boss Glenn Roeder has clinched a dramatic £10million deal to steal Ireland international winger Duff from under Tottenham's noses.
Tottenham had their initial bid for Duff turned down earlier in the week.
Yesterday Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said he held talks with Duff and has described him as a player he's happy to keep but not 'desperate to keep'.
