Waterford United FC has announced that three players have been released by the club with immediate effect.
They are Alan O'Shea, Lloyd Colfer and Paul Ometeso.
The club wished the trio the best for the future. Colfer is a product of the Wexford schoolboy system and prospered under the guidance of Mick Wallace. He has represented Shamrock Rovers, St. Pats, UCD (where he received a football scholarship) and Bray at U-21 level.
Ometso, from Nigeria, has been living in Carlow for some years and is studying at Waterford Institute of Technology. O'Shea signed for the Blues from Limerick FC.
